Turning her back of Jane, her councillor Saffron Decano rolled her eyes, whipping her body round to face her, her hair following smoothly afterwards. "I have never, and will never need your stupid help..." She snapped loudly, in the middle of a crowded student services. "You're just a stupid councillor, who thinks she knows what's best for me.. But you don't. You know nothing about me, except for the little information I've given you. So Don't You Ever! Tell Me What I Can And Can't Do..." She yelled, her blood boiling as she pulled the door open aggresively and stormed out of the small room, heading towards the gardens.
Approaching a sweet smelling garden the girls eyes soften a little, although she could still feel rage running through her veins. Looking towards her arms she winced as she saw the horrible scars that covered her pale flesh. She couldn't help it, Jane didn't understand although she liked to think she did. No-one did, or so it seemed to Saffron. Grabbing a rose she held the stem tight in her hand, the sharp thorns piercing the skin of her palm, causing blood to drip down her wrist. A tear running down her cheek Saffron unclenched her hand and paused to see what she'd done. Was Jane right about her having a problem?
Lowering herself to the floor she curled herself up in a ball, sobbing quietly.

It wasn't just that Jaiden didn't like school, but the staff made it impossible to have any privacy. Due to his past experiences, they'd set the counselors on him in hopes of some confession or something. He wasn't sure what they were looking for when they watched him from their windows, but it was starting to aggravate him. He found himself in the gardens, but he wasn't quite sure how he'd gotten here, it wasn't a shock to him. He'd just transferred here, but he didn't remember why he'd left his hometown in the first place though. He nearly tripped over someone, the sound of sobbing finally catching his attention.
"What the- Hey what's wrong?" He was crouching down near Saffron, almost afraid to reach out and touch her shoulder, hesitating. She was curled up, which made him wonder what was wrong. He slipped off his green-tinted sunglasses and tilted his head as he studied her back. Jaiden tugged at the collar of his tight-fitting striped t-shirt and sighed. Jaiden withdrew his hand, wrapping his arms around himself as he shivered.
"What the hell, I got goosebumps," Murmuring to himself, it was wierd. Jaiden had just gotten a chill down his spine. He glanced around, making sure that it was just his imagination. Sometimes he felt like people were watching him, and it was a bit creepy.

Hearing a voice Saffron's small body stifened and she sat up slightly, her eyes catching those of Jaiden's. Saffron's tear stained face held nothing but an expression of melancholy as her eyes cast downward to examine the torn skin of her palm. She frowned as she pulled a thorn sharply from her hand. Not caring of the pain it caused her. All Saffron had ever felt was pain; often brought on by herself.
Her scarred arm fell to her side and she leant back against the low, brick wall behind her, shaking her head in disgust with herself as she held her knees close to her body. There was a cold wind brushing past both Jaiden and her, that was extremely noticable. Her eyes wandered slowly across the ground, not daring to look Jaiden in the face.
She rose an eyebrow slightly as he spoke once more. Saffron's dark eyes were outlined perfectly with black eyeliner, her eyelids cloaked in a bright red eyeshadow. Although all of that was smudge, the effect of her icy tears. Wiping her eyes once more a pained expression crossed her face as her eyes met Jaidens...

Without hesitation, Jaiden reached out and wiped the remainder of her tears away gently, tilting his head slightly, peering at her through half-lidded eyes. He brushed his purple-tinted hair from his eyes as he glanced over at the roses, picking one and holding it by the stem between two fingers. He avoided her gaze for a moment, studying the rose, breathing in the scent of it before looking back at Saffron.
"Crying isn't good for your body, it puts more stress on the body, wears you out, and beauty is obscured by sadness; although it may not be that in your case," Jaiden didn't break eye contact this time, and the emotion in his eyes was akin to anger, but what instigated it wasn't clear. The thorns pricked his fingers, but he payed it no mind, even as small droplets of blood leaked down his thumb and into his palm. She was pretty, even with the smeared makeup, but that wasn't what mattered to Jaiden. He was all about personality, but he was in no place to judge right now. This girl was upset, and he'd be damned if he'd let her stay that way.
Breaking the thorns off the stem carefully, twirling it between his fingers with a sigh. "Don't cry, try and channel your emotions by doing something you love,"

The girl tenced as his hand travelled closer to her cheek, almost expecting him to hit her. Feeling his finger softy brush the tears from her cheeks she sighed, clenching her jaw shut to stop her teeth from chattering in the cold. Coudhing quietly she held her face in the palm of her hands for a moment, as if holding herself in one piece for fear that, if she didn't, she would crumble, never to regain each tiny piece that made up the broken soul before him.
Sighing heavily she was careful to hold her knees close to her body, her eyes studying the floor, not yet looking towards Jaiden's face. Travelling across his body she studied his body language very carefully with her dark eyes. Saffron knew better that to trust people who offered help. All her life she had been open to new people, but at Silkwood all that was slowly changing. Barriers were forming, never to be broken? Who knew...
Her eyes finally met those of Jaiden Wright and she arched a brow for a moment, studying his, slightly angry looking, face. Inahiling heavily she looked towards the roses, so sweet smelling, so delicate, but yet so lethal to those who wish themselves harm. Her eyes followed the stem of one particular rose, which danced in the breeze. The thorns like razor blades, just waiting to feel blood.

"You do see what I'm saying, don't you?" Jaiden spoke again, the anger melting away the instant she made eye contact again. He didn't pity her, he couldn't, but he wasn't sure why she was so upset. Jaiden wasn't expecting her to tell him, but it sure would help him.
"I'm not sure what to tell you, but things change," He was quiet again, brushing the side of his face with his fingertips, seemingly afraid to touch her, like she'd fall to pieces. Jaiden hadn't quite given up yet, he wanted to find out what was wrong, but he wasn't going to press. The more he thought about it, the more he realized it didn't have anything to do with him. He didn't even know this girl, so why was he here? He couldn't even bring himself to speak again, what he wanted to say couldn't be communicated well with words.
Jaiden didn't even hesitate to hug her, he couldn't think of anything to say that could help. He hadn't a clue why she was upset, but it'd be better not to ask now. He'd dropped the rose, forgetting he was even holding it, the blood wiped away on his pants, his palm stained a faint red.
