Joseph smirked, sitting on the floor like he always did. He found it all the more comfortable. A sharpie marker and notebook sat in his hands as he drew random things. Sure, he wasn't an artist or anything, but it didn't mean he didn't enjoy the occasional star or phrase on the front of his notebook. It was what defined him. Sure, maybe it didn't define him much, but it did help by showing what he liked. Face it, if you're writing 'Armor For Sleep' or 'The Used' lyrics on your stuff and you hate them--what are you doing? Just getting them noticed more.
He glanced up, ugh. How he hated it when it was so bright out. He wished the sun would just. Go. And die. But then there would be an extreme ice age and everyone would die. Which would mean there would be no one to study. He wouldn't even be able to study in the first place because he would be dead. Yeah--sad thought, right? Not really.
He straightened out one leg against the floor, other still bent, left knee exposed through a large rip but was partially covered by fishnet. His pants were nothing out of the ordinary today, hot pink bandana tied around his right knee making the pants that hugged his form so, stick out. His choice of a shirt today was a mint green one that was V-neck, showing off his collarbone and his shoes? Surprisingly, today, he wore a pair of black tennis shoes instead of his boots. And on his wrists were several bracelets. His choice of a belt was a black faux snake-skin belt with an oversized buckle.
He swallowed hard, opening the notebook to come to notes from classes. Ew. He couldn't understand a bit of the notes. But they had to be written. Just to make it seem like he was paying the least bit of attention in class.

She was sitting on a bench in the entrance hall, waiting for her class period to be over with. Not wishing to take the test this hour, she would make up an excuse of feeling sick, which in a way she was, but now she was feeling better. She had her back to the arm of the bench, one leg resting flat across it and the other was bent up. Her head and shoulders leaned towards the wall which the backlessbench was propped up against using it as a pillow. She had fallen asleep there it wasn't till she heard the bell for the class to be over with for the day that she had woken up.
Nancy-Drew didn't want to wae up though, she wanted to sleep, the bell had interupted one of the more better dreams in her life time. She tried to focus on sleeping once more, but as she tried she only could hear that ringing of the school bell. Turning her head to the side some, she noticed a guy sitting on the ground looking at notes maybe? She kept herself in that postion, but would probably sit up and allow her back to rest against the arm rest of the backless bench.

His eyes clenched shut as the bell rang. How he hated that loud noise. Flipping to another page in his notebook, he pulled a pen from his pocket and wrote down, 'Public Schools vs. Home Schooling' and underlined it, writing the phrase 'Much, much less noise and distractions' under pros of homeschooling. Why did his parents have to do this to him? All because he wanted to be an individual instead of a 'person as a whole'? He then turned, noticed Nancy, and quickly tried to speak over the bell; "Do you get used to that!?", his eyes still tightly clenched shut, but opened slightly. "Because I think my head's going to explode with all this noise! I hate it! Not from people. But the frikkin' bell!" he growled, staying seated on the floor from where he was. [/size]

"After a while yes.. but I think I hate it as much as you do at this moment" The bell had interupted a dream. HEr dreams were the closest things to her being happy, nothing in real life seemed to be happy and when she tried to go for it there were things blocking her. Loosing her good friends, not wanting people to think that she was a prep.. and she definately didn't think she would have the guy of her dreams.
Sitting up, she placed her back against the arm rest of the backless bench. "My name is Nancy-Drew" She called across towards him. "Nancy will due though" She didn;t have a smile on her face. It was rare for her to hold a smile on her face all the time or for more than a minute. Nancy looked to the guy as her lef leg that hd been bent all this time straightened out and her right leg now was bent.

"I'm not used to this level of noise. Ugh!" he groaned; he just wanted to beat the bell. Just to get it to shut up. But would that do much? No, not besides shove him into the office, probably. "I hate this whole 'public schools' things. My parents are in so much trouble when they hear from me!" he joked, laughing, then sighing loudly. Watching her quietly, he stood and began walking over to her, that way he wouldn't have to shout as loud, and he sat on the floor once more. Just merely plopped down. "Floor's more comfy for me." he explained with a wide grin before extending his right hand, "I'm Joseph William Rydell. I hate my name, so just call me Will, William, Ry, or Rydell." he said with a nod, "Unless you have a better nickname, then you can call me that." he continued smiling; yes, Joseph was quite a cheery man, a lot of people would figure this out easily. She gave a light laugh when he continued to complain about the bell. "You were home schooled weren't you"
She watching him there on the ground for a moment before looking to the ceiling. " I could call you B.H." Which actually stood for Bell Hater, but she wanted to see if he got what it meant .
