The only one in the entire field, Calypso sat with a notebook on one side of him, favorite guitar on the other. The sun was setting, meaning maybe he'd actually get some work done on his songs. It was only at night that he could really focus on it. He was weird like that... maybe he was just nocturnal or something. He smiled. Or maybe it was the dark, keeping away the distraction of seeing. He was always feeling a little more creative on the rainy, cloudy days. So yes, there was a good chance the lack of light was what allowed him to be most productive at night.
Picking up his guitar and moving his notebook in front of him to where he could more easily see it, Calypso started playing one of his newer songs, looking for any faults in it. His voice, and the sound of his guitar, seemed to be the only noise all around. "Stop stalling, make a name for yourself. Boy you better put that pen to paper and charm your way out. If you talk you better walk you better back your shit up, with more than good hooks while you're all under the gun..."
| OOC: Yes, I am borrowing Panic! At the Disco's music to use as Calypso's because I can't write lyrics at all. |

(( I <3 panic!))
Artemis wandered the campus, in search of something to do, her guitar strung over her shoulder. She suddenly heard the sound of music from across the campus, and followed it. She stood, and watched the boy playing it for a moment, before walking towards him.
Her long auburn hair, with purple streaks, blew in the wind, and her guitar bounced lightly on her back. She was wearing a pair of fitted jeans, converse, and a skull top. she smiled as she nearned him.
"Not bad..." she said, smirking...."Very impressive.."

Calypso stopped singing, mid-word, hearing her. "Oh.. umm.. thanks." Usually, he was little better at sounding, well, less confused. But he hadn't even heard the girl walk up... And he pretty much never let anyone hear his music. Kind of crazy, for a guy that wanted to become famous. But he always worried he wouldn't be good enough, that people would just laugh if they heard him. He looked at the girl, noticing her feet first since they were more at eye-level with him sitting. And he smiled a little, seeing her shoes. Converse. His were converse, too. Old, faded, and green. He'd had them for years, since he was 13 or so. And while they used to be big on him, they now fit perfectly.

"Oh.. umm.. thanks."
Artemis smiled, and sat down next to him. She crossed her legs, indian style, and took her guitar from her back.
"Why' d you stop?" she asked curiously... "It was really good.." she grinned, and lightly strummed her guitar.
She sang his last stanza quietly to herself, then continued it, singing and playing her guitar.
"start talking 'a sensationalist' Oh he's slightly clever to just a certain extent If you talk you better walk you better keep your mouth shut With more than good hooks while you're all under the gun"
She stopped singing, and looked at him.
"I'm Artemis.." she said, taking her guitar pick from her hand, and putting it around her neck, as it was on a chain. She extended her hand to him.... "Who're you?"
((I just sorta continued the song..hope thats alright with you! if not, tell me & i'll change it.))

He shrugged, it was hard to explain how he freaked out when people heard him singing. Most didn't understand how much he worried about just not being good enough. So he'd stopped trying to get them to. Calypso smiled a little, listening to her. "I'm Calypso." He shook her hand, and smiled again. "Nice to meet you. I love your name." Artemis. It was like his, a name from Greek mythology. And as far as he knew, Artemis was goddess of the moon... So she was lucky. While her name, and his, were both acceptable names for either gender, hers was originally a girl's name, and she was a girl. His, on the other hand, was also originally a girl's name... but he definitely wasn't a female.

((good )) "I'm Calypso."Artemis smiled, and shook his hand. She liked him. He seemed nice, sort of shy, but nice. And he had a great voice. very cool. "Pleasure to met you Calypso." "Nice to meet you. I love your name." "Oh, thanks. It seems to be the only intelligent thing my parents have ever done. Your name is killer to though, very greek mythology" She lightly cracked her knuckles, and strummed her guitar, the wind blowing her hair.. "So, what are you doing out here at this hour?"

He laughed. "So is yours," he said, in a reply to what she'd said about his name. "The Greek names are always the coolest. Where else would you find something like Persephone, or Amaryllis?" Yes, Calypso knew a lot about names of Greek origin... Because after finding out about his, he was curious. What other cool names like that were there? He moved his guitar off to the side, and looked at Artemis. "I was looking for some inspiration," he said, with a smile. "I can always think more clearly when it's dark. During they day my head's filled with too many distractions," he explained. "And what are you doing out here?"

"So is yours,"
"Inded it is." she smiled
"The Greek names are always the coolest. Where else would you find something like Persephone, or Amaryllis?"
Artemis smiled. "I know, I mean, today's names are so, common. My aunt wanted my mom to name me Nicole. I know at least 7 Nicoles, but not a single Artemis."
"I was looking for some inspiration," ...."I can always think more clearly when it's dark. During they day my head's filled with too many distractions,"
Artemis nodded. She was the same way. Of course, she was named after the goddess of the moon, so that might have somethign to do with it.
"I know the feeling. Its nice at night, dark, cool, quiet. No jerks to bother you.." she smiled, "As for me, I'm here, cuz I like the dark, and am an insomniac. so, every night, i wander the grounds, just thinking..."

"You don't look like a Nicole... You're definitely better as an Artemis." And he nodded. "And you're the first Artemis I've met, too. So definitely not the most common of names." He smiled. More original names like that were so much better. How were you supposed to use it as an identity when so many other people were, too? Then you'd have to use your last name, and maybe even middle name too, just to distinguish yourself from others. He was happy with his name, especially since he'd never met another person with it. He nodded. "Less distracting," he agreed. "An insomniac?" Calypso smiled. "I'm not sure if I am. I never give myself the opportunity to find out."

Koneko was walking quietly across the fields. She wanted something to do...something to take her mind off of Ry.She was getting more confused as she tried to pan out why she was feeling the way she did about him.She was walking by Artemis, tripped, and landed on her face.
'Wonderful job,Koneko.'She thought to herself. She rolled onto her back and just laid there. She saw the two and sat up. "Sorry to bother you.I am a huge klutz."She laughed.
She stood up and sat on some bleachers. She wathced them play guitars. "I wish I would've brought my guitar...I have a wonderful song written down."She said setting a page infront of them. It was a song: Hush little baby, don't you cry. Mama, doesn't want to see her baby die. Waiting for you,as long as I can Before you get taken and beaten again The scars on you show so much love Take me stars way above Nothing can take you from me You'll always be my punching bag,you see
"That is all I have written. It is a song about my mother."Koneko said as she spit off to the side of them.

Calypso laughed, looking at Koneko. "Are you alright?" he asked, checking. Of course, he wasn't too worried. He had a feeling she tripped often, considering that's what happened both times he'd seen her so far. So yeah, he figured she'd be fine... And besides, she was already up again by the time he'd said it, and had placed a piece of paper in front of him and Artemis. He heard her say it was a song... who knew so many students at Silkwood were musical? But it seemed as if everyone he'd met was involved in it in some way, making him even more reluctant to consider letting anyone hear his stuff. Because, well, if everyone was musically talented, then how good would he seem in comparison? But Calypso read over the lyrics, and smiled. "Wow, creepy," he said, quietly. "No bad creepy just... it's kind of haunting, you know?"

Koneko smiled. "I am a very creepy person once you get to know me."She laughed. She smoothed out her skirt and picked up the song. She placed it in her pocket and sat down next to Calypso. "Anywho...I was just passing by and saw you and this girl playing guitar and it sparked my curiousity."She said letting a warm smile flash across her face.

He laughed. "Well, creepy is... interesting," Calypso said with a smile. He didn't mind creepy people. Just boring ones. He nodded. "Yeah, I was working on one of my songs, trying to get rid of all the problems parts and stuff. And then Artemis found me," he explained. "And then I freaked out to some extent, because she'd heard my song." He laughed. "I'm pathetic like that... I've got issues with anyone hearing my music much."

"I am sort of the same way.I don't really freak out about people hearing my music...just about everything else...not bad freak out....I am just a huge scaredy cat about people, people hearing me sing, and most large cares and animals."She giggled.
Koneko looked at the stars. "Starlight,Starbright....please bring him to me tonight.Wish I may,Wish I might.I just can't stand this,I am losing the fight."Koneko sang quietly.

He laughed. "It's not a major freak out for me, just... Nerves, and stuff, when people hear it. Because half the time, the lyrics might as well be a journal entry. So the thought of singing my journal, for everyone to hear? It's scary." He shrugged. "But besides that, there's worrying about my singing, worrying about everything that could be wrong with it." Calypso looked at Koneko, and smiled. "Most animals?" he asked. He had no problem with animals, unless you counted people as animals.
