For an usually optimistic person, Jacquie was in an awful mood at the moment. She sat on the football field in the dark. She hadn't moved for a few hours. She'd just sat there. Thinking, staring off. The usual for her when she was in a bad mood. Today was a little different though. It had always been apparent that Jacquie didn't get along with the Jocks. Today was no exception. They always were crude around her. Lewd comments and touching. She didn't like it. And she wasn't powerful enough to stop it.
Jacquie put her head on her knees, paying no attention to anything around her. It had a blur to it. Maybe it was because of the tears. She tried not to be so sensitive. But, the truth was, Jacquie was very sensitive. And a bit emotional. She always had her down moments. Mostly away from people. She didn't like to show how vulnerable she was sometimes. Jacquie felt she had to be strong. Thats just the ways he was.
She wished she had someone to talk to right now. Just to spill everything to. A friend, a stranger. It didn't matter. All she wanted was someone to listen
