Enigma Academy was founded in the early 19th century by a man named William Charleston. Charleston was a strict man, and as he father before him - he brought up his children to respect tradition and honour your father. On this principle, he founded his school - Enigma Academy - creating rules and guidelines for those that attended. All students came from rich backgrounds, mainly friends of the Charleston family themselves.
Charleston, as principle, had no trouble getting all his students to conform. That was until one day, his grandson Frederick came to school out of uniform, wearing a rather large jacket and some sweatpants. Of course, his grandfather was enraged. "What the hell are you doing?" He asked his grandson. "Grandfather," he replied, "Not everyone is the same." And with that, he flicked his eyes to his grandfather's desk, flicking all the papers of it and flinging the desk across the room. He was, as it turned out, telekinetic.
And then, the school was open to those with special "abilites". Frederick took over as principal, turning the school into a place where students could feel safe - and cling to a sense of belonging that they may not find within society. Even those students that were old enough to have graduated were welcomed to stay on as teachers, to keep the tradition alive.[/blockquote]

Enigma Academy is a high school RP, about students who are different to the norm. They have found, whilst living in the outside world, that they have "abilities" that are not common in humans, and some of them may even be one of a kind. Enigma Academy is a safe haven for them to come and attempt to harness their power, and perhaps to understand a little more about it.
Though the teachers play a role in this, the school is mainly powered bonds formed between students, and the courage and determination of the students themselves to pull through. Their abilities are not the only obstacles - they still have the pressures of high school to worry about. Grades, curfews and falling in love - can you handle it?
