A small sigh escaped the lips of Stefani Blade. Her emerald eyes darted around at the surroundings around her, taking in the beautiful view of nature. She had always loved being outside, getting some fresh air. She would automatically admit it was dozens times better than sitting inside watching television or being on the computer for countless hours of the day. To her, it was so much more peaceful to go outside in read, or go for a simple walk, like she was doing that afternoon.
It was fairly nice outside. Not cold, not hot. Just enough for her to have thrown on a white sweater over her lime green tank top. She was wearing a pair of worn out jeans and a pair of flip flops were on her feet. Her wavy blond hair was down and blew back softly every now and then as a soft breeze decided to come by.
So, she continued on the little path. Walking past trees and several benches where people could rest. Surprisingly, there weren't many people there that day. Except for a few couples going out on walks, hand in hand. Or a mother bringing out her child. Stefani didn't walk out and introduce herself to anyone she saw alone though; she was never that type of person. She sometimes wished she was; more lively with people she didn't know. But, she couldn't help the fact that she was rather shy and quiet most of the time.

Aidan tugged gingerly at the strap of his guitar case as it rubbed against his shoulder, cutting in slightly. It was fairly uncomfortable, but he was determined to go out for a walk today and figured he would need something to keep himself entertained at the park. The slight breeze was warmly received by him as it caused the edges of his light brown corduroy jacket to flutter a bit, opening up to reveal a white tshirt underneath. Granted, his style was quite plain, but he had no need to dress up and it was difficult to follow any fashion trend when one made sure all their clothes were from companies that didn't enforce slave-labour-like atmospheres and didn't support animal cruelty.
Up ahead of him on the path, he happened to spot a rather familiar sight. There was no mistaking that charming young lady. "Stefani!" he exclaimed with a wave, speeding up his walk as much as he could, without the guitar slamming against his back.

As she continued walking through the last thing she expected was to have some company on that lovely afternoon. Of course, she would have loved to have someone to spend it with, but it wasn't something that happened everyday. But, when she heard her name being called out, her head swung around to the all too familiar voice. A rather bright smile came to her lips as she lifted her right hand up and waved back at Aidan. She turned her body around and began walking rather fast toward him.
"Hello Aidan." She said, when she finally reached him, planting a friendly kiss on his cheek. She took a step back, before walking over to his side and beginning to walk with him. "How have you been?" She asked curiously, her voice came out soft; with a small, yet noticable, English accent.

Sure they had been friends for what seemed like ages now, but her little endearing greeting still made his stomach flip so much you'd think it was trying out for the olympics. A kiss on the cheek might have just been a hello for her, but he always loved it, a little hope for more. What? A boy could hope, couldn't he?
"I've been great, but I'm excellent with you here." he teased, reciprocating her kiss on the cheek with a kiss of his own, planted lightly on the top of that pretty blonde head of hers. "How about you, cutie? What're you doing wandering around the park all by your lonesome?" Sure, she could ask the same of him, but the guitar strapped securely around his back made it look as if his excursion at least had a vague purpose.

Stefani knew he was only teasing her, but the words were still great to hear coming from his lips. She shot him a bright, cheesy smile revealing her pearly white teeth. "Glad to hear that." She said happily, grinning as he gave her a kiss of his own. "I can't complain. Just decided to come for a little walk." She shrugged her fragile shoulders some before continuing. "I could ask the same for you. I see you brought a little friend along." She said, referring to his guitar.
Stefani didn't know a single person in her family who didn't play guitar. So, obviously, her father just had to teach his little girl. She had loved it from the minute he had put the thing in her arms. It was always such an amazing way for her to escape somewhere else. Relax a bit.
