Gah, Riot was so freakishly bored right now, it was not even funny. How on earth did people here get by when nothing was going on? Honestly, he hadn't seen a soul all day. But that could also be because classes had ended maybe five minutes ago, that were they could be. A safe bet any way. Yes, the boy was a genius like that I know. He was also smart enough to go wandering around a park he had never been in before. Smart enough to go alone, smart enough to get lost. Yup, though the boy didn't look panicked at all, he had absolutely no idea where he was headed. Maybe there was a super interesting world at the end of this loopy trail. Yeah, a place where there was plenty of people to talk to without anyone who annoyed him endlessly. Grr, that only reminded him of how many people here he already knew he wasn't going to like. He would count them on his fingers, seeing as that was his best math, but he didn't have enough of them and would forget if that was the third time or the fourth time through. Yes, his memory is just that amazing.
Back to reality here, where was he? Looking around he didn't see anything but the regular trees and worn out benches. Yuck, sitting was not something he did, even if he was lost and tired. The second he tried to , he'd just want up all over again, so what was the point? Exactly, his logic worked him out of taking a break. " Brilliant time for the city to be empty," he said to absolutely no one bu the birds that flew out of the branches at the sound of his voice. How dare they not give him a decent answer. Of coarse he had the ability to get mad at things that couldn't talk, and yes, he also knew it probably wasn't normal. But did he care? Nope. Not at all, he had less to worry about that way.
Sighing lightly to himself, and deciding to go right at the corner in front of him, he figured this would probably be where he died. Right here. They'd finally find him in a few weeks, mourn over what a shame it was that he died so young, and on a walk through a park at that. Yup, he'd make headlines for sure. Then maybe this bloody park would get some signs telling you where to go. Hey, he could help the next little kiddy that tried going through here. How nice. " But I'd still prefer to get out myself," he muttered under his breath, like he was suddenly concerned someone would hear him. It would be for the best if they did, but only if it was someone who could help. Not if it was a weird stalker-hides-in-the-bushes kind of person. Then he could do without. Good to know that he thought that kind of person was in the park.
Well, you couldn't just go around trusting everyone you went by, even if he did that 9/10 times. Come to think of it, he spoke to almost anyone he met, and that included five-year-olds. He probably got along with them best, that's how childish he could get to be. And that got him some weird stares from people sure, but those he just laughed at. All in good fun I suppose. Or the boy was quite literally insane.

-- After an unbelievably boring lesson of History at Silkwood High Ruby Haart felt like a walk, some fresh air. The school grounds were one place, but it seemed everyone today had had that idea. The warm sun beamed down and there were students dotted about here there and everywhere. Catching up on studies, catching the rays of the sun, in fear that it would soon fade away. The peole that caught her eye were the truely happy couples that wandered about, completely enraptured by one another. Shaking away the sudden feeling of lonliness that had over come her she grabbed her car keys, and wandered towards the parking lot. Pulling the black door of the, slightly battered, car open she slid her thin body inside, grinning as she sat comfortable, and started the engine, backing out of her space carefully. ** Arriving at Prospect Park she found an empty space, and parked her car, stepping out and pulling her black shades over her eyes. They were rather large, the kind you'd see on the face of a popular, but Ruby had modified hers, with red painted swirls here and there. The soft padding of her ballet pumps on the floor could be heard as she walked towards the grassy area, giggling as she spotted a lonely daisy buried beneath the numerous blades of emerald green grass. It wasn't a strange thing for Ruby to talk to objects; no, it was extremely common... Walking along she muttered things to the daisy that rested in her small palm. Today Ruby was wearing tight black jeans, that were artistically ripped at the knees, with safety pins here and there, a green tank top, and here black and blue hair cascaded down her from in two plaits. Her attention distracted by the beauty of the flower she accidentally bumbed into Riot, the daisy falling to the floor, her eyebrows shooting up. "Oh.. I'm sorry, I didn't see you..." She apologized, biting her lower lip. "Are you okay...? Asked Ruby, her eyes dancing with a glint from the sun as she waited for his reply.

Gosh, if the boy had more of a temper or, you know, she ran into him even a little bit harder, he would have had something to say about it. But seeing as the boy hardly ever had a mean thing to say, and the bump was barely noticeable as far as 'hurt' goes, it didn't hurt the carefree smile on his face. " Fine, should probably be watching things around me a bit more," he said with a better smile, yes the boy couldn't help but smile almost 24/7. Thank god his was a lovely one and not one full of crooked teeth. That would be nasty, and he probably wouldn't smile ever if that was the case any way. He'd be too worried over it to. Finally getting a look at the girl in front of him, he was more relieved to find it wasn't a popular that he'd run into. Then things would have been terribly awkward and poof, he'd have himself a new enemy to hold onto. Fantastic I know, but he preferred to get along with people. Call him crazy.
" You wouldn't happen to know the way out here, would you?," he asked rather out of the blue, but that was how long it took him to remember that she was someone who might know. Yes, his sharp, I'll give him that. " Oh, sorry, I'm Riot," he said, introducing himself when he thought of being polite for a second. Didn't feel like scaring off the one person who could help, and in the process meet maybe the first person he had yet in this city. And most likely the school to, seeing as almost every kid he had seen had gone to Silk Wood. It was just the painfully obvious. Running a hand through his carefully styled brownish hair, he was glad he'd decided to bother with taming it today, it usually stuck out in any odd way, not that he cared that much but it was nice to think he didn't look like a complete mess.
"Speaking of getting out, why are you even in? I haven't seen another person here all day," he told her, curious about why she was there though he knew he was pointing out he'd skipped classes. Not to mention he was here to, so she wasn't the only one who decided to take a trip here. But she was the only one of them smart enough to bring sunglasses, he'd forgotten his at school, but they weren't a decorated as hers. Just plan white, but it would help the bright rays of sun all the same.

Ruby shook her head apologetically. "N-no.. It was my fault. Shouldn't daydream..." She stuttered with a slight smile. Unfortunately for Ruby, she got extremely nervous around people she didn't know well. She stuttered sometimes, and often didn't know what to say. It was something she hated about herself, amongst other things. Her dark eyes fluttered slightly, her eyes smokily outlines with black... Flicks of bright red at each end of her eyes.
Ruby shrugged her small shoulders and looked around slowly, raising her sunglasses for a moment to get a proper view of the massive park. "so so..." She smiled as he introduced himself. "Hey, I'm Ruby..." Pausing she quirked one of her perfectly shaped eyebrows "You go to Silkwood High, right?" Loosing some of her shyness she let her elegant fingers mess with her skelington necklaces that hung loosely around her bony neck. All in all Ruby was a small girl, not in heigh, she was average for her age, around 5f4, but her weight was not so average. All her clothes hung from her tiny limbs, and she was extremely self-concious of the fact that she was underweight.
Laughing she bit her lower lip. "Uhm, not sure really. I had a free period... And decided to come here..." She replied politely. Returning his question. "What about you...?" The truth was, Ruby Haart had been to one of her numerous councilling sessions, and due to finishing her Meeting with Jane, she had decided to skip lessons--and she assumed that Riot had skipped lessons too. The fact that they were the only two students here was not suprising atall...
