.x. Uncovering herself, Harmony threw the black with hot pink polka-dotted sheets off herself. Swinging her legs down from the bed she gave a small gasp, the floor was freezing. As she wrapped herself in her arms she dashed to the bathroom, earning a hot shower. Shedding her boxer and tank top off, then her underwear and bra she threw all of that into teh hamper and stepped into the shower, turning the knob to the hottest water temprature possible. Scrubbing her hair with shampoo, then conditionair she finshed her shower with a new feeling of awakness. And muse. She needed inspiration for a picture, a drawing and a photograph. Wrapping her towel around her slim figure she walked over to her walk-in closet and pondered for a bit what to wear. Finally settling on a black half pants, a pink tank-top and her Fender hoodie she pulled all her clothing on and walked over to the bathroom again. After getting ready by brushing her teeth and untangling her hair and all teh other moring duties she shoved her feet into gray and pink Audios. Before leaving she managed to get a hold on her drawing book, charcoal, smudger, pencils, and camera. Finally she could leave the house.
.x. Limbs carried her down the stairs , out onto the courtyard were she saw a few kids skipping, and a couple making out near the fountain. Atlast she was in the gardens. What Harmony loved about these gardens were that they had every bit of inspiration, every color every wonder. Things that took her breath away. And those were few. Really, it took alot to make her smile these days, after the incident. With a deep sigh she placed her drawing materials under a weeping willow tree. Holding only her camera she looked around, humming a soft lullaby she used to hear when she was way younger. Perfect, right before her eyes, a tiny black hummingbird inspected a white hibiscus curiously. Click. Snapping some more photos Harmony walked back to her place under the willow. Looking up momentariloy she could hear the clouds, gathering, darkning and thickening. Threating to release a down pour of rain, on her. Shivering as an unexpected gust of wind blew in she set down her camera and picked up her pencil, drawing book and charcoal. Picturing the hummingbird and the flowers she started to sketch it, and teh garden itself. Adding the clouds, and some other minor details.
.x. It wooould be nice to have company. Harmony was the new girl in school and hadn't met anyone yet. Not one person, but other than that the campus seemed nice. But then again, not all that glitters is gold. She knew that for a fact. Eyeing her thick leather bracelets she glared back up and concentrated on her drawing. It was wanting to come back. The urge, no, more like the need to cut, to feel the pain was creeping up on her again. Harmony resisted all she could. Honestly she did. But not all things could be done alone. It hurt to know that she couldn't run away, that this impulse was stronger than her. Never did Harmony show weakness, not to anyone, she always cried alone, or cried herself to sleep so no one would see. No one would know she was broken inside. Streching her legs out a clinking sound startled her. When she looked down at the grass she saw shards of a broken vodka glass. Placing her drawing down, she untied the bracelets, trembling fingers slowly picked up a larger shard. Gray optics stared at the old scars, and, as if it was a natrual reaction she sliced through skin, making a rather deep cut on her upper arm, four inches below her elbow. No! she shrieked and threw the piece of glass far as she could throw. Tears threatened to overflow. She embraced herself in her arms, resting her head on her knees. She needed to resist. Silently tears flowed down, staining her cheek, atleast no one was here yet to see her liek this. Her cut started to sting, alot. And to top it all off, she felt the fist few droplets of rain fall down.

Jayce had slept in as long as he possibly could. He rolled around on his bed, before laying on his back and staring up at the ceiling ahead of him. A long sigh escaped his pale pink lips. He knew he had to get up, but he was too lazy to do so. Laying there was a complete waste of time, but where the hell would he go if he got up and walked out of his home? He lay there for a few more moments before he brought his legs to the edge of the bed and got up. He ran a hand through his incredibly messy hair before getting up and walking over to the bathroom. He stood there for a moment or so, staring at himself in the mirror. Before he got his toothbrush, toothpaste, and did the regular routines that everyone else did. Or at least, should do. He walked over to his closet and threw on a black t-shirt and a pair of rather tight jeans, that were slightly ripped at the knee. He didn’t bother to brush his hair; he simply ran his hands through it a few more times. Perfect-o.
He stepped outside, and automatically began walking. Where exactly he was planning to go, he wasn’t sure. But, perhaps a little walk would get him more awake. Who knew, he might even find someone interesting to talk to. He hadn’t seen much of anyone lately, leaving him rather lonely. But, at least he was alive..? Jayce was in the need of an interesting day. Perhaps go out to a party, have a little fun. But, it was too early to be thinking about that now. At least in his view it was.
As he walked through the courtyard, and into the gardens he started to grow rather bored. His walk was becoming a rather huge disaster and he wanted something interesting to happen. He was literally about to run up to the nearest random person and jump on top of them, just to give himself something to do. But, he held himself back. As he was walking on through, his legs suddenly stopped as a piece of glass came flying his way. He jumped back slightly, just barely missing it. “What the hell..” He said softly, his eyes darting around as he looked for the person who had thrown it. His eyes landed upon a girl who was hugging herself and he walked slowly over to her; in case she had any other sharp objects to try any kill him with. He leaned down next to her, biting the inside of his lip. “Sweets, what’s wrong?” He still had yet to notice the cut that she had made herself, his eyes glued to her. He spoke softly, not wanting to frighten the girl in any way. Whether she would tell him what was wrong, he had no idea. But, it was worth a try.
[[ Hope you don't mind. <3]]

&& mabey we're bent and broken
♥ See, when Harmony threw that d**ned piece of glass, her eyes were closed. Nice right? Throwing random sharp, dangerous objects with your eyes closed? Ya, well anyway Harmony was a different kind of person, and really, different was the nicest way to put it. Rebelious, quiet, sensitive and well, different from the rest of the crowd Harmony was what haters labeled emo. But she was artistic so the haters have nothing better to do, so they label her emo and arty. Mostly emo though. It really disgusted her, she wasn't a soup can, but hey, this is the real reality, not the one she made up for herself in her head.
♥ But getting back on the subject, when Harmony threw that piece of glass, her eyes were closed. Thus she didn't know she acually hit someone until she caught the faintest words of a surprised guy. That made her want to smile. But she didn't; she couldn't, not now. Lifting her head up Harmon's blue gray eyes watched as the guy got closer and really she remembered her cuts. She only remembered them because they started to sting, alot. Unwrapping her arms she stuck her hands in her pullover hoodie's front pockets and clumsily crossed tied her leather bracelets on both wrists. That was close. But what Harmony didn't notice was that the bloody mess was started to rim her bracelets. But Harmony was too busy to notice, she was looking at this guy. Typical Harmony. His voice caught her attention, he spoke softly and he looked like her. Well, ya almost. Today sh didn't feel like dressing in her tight black jeans and a black shirt all that 'emo' style stuff. So atleast he didn't look like a Popular clique people. She shuddered, that would be bad.
♥ Sweets, he called her sweets. No one called her that, they all called her 'freak' instead, so you can tell meeting this boy was a shock. Forcing a tiny smile on her pale pink/red lips she spoke in an equally soft voice, more from lack of strength, but it was soft and kinda pleasent to hear, so some people told her. Nothings wrong hun. The question is, are you alright? It seemed from over here that glass shard hit you? Harmony raised a brow and let it set back in place. The pain of the cuts were getting more intolerable. They started to throb too. What a great day. No? It was average for Harmony. She decided to gather some strength and be polite. I'm Song, well acually Harmony Song. Taking a hand from out of her hoodie she offered it to the guy, forgetting that small portion of blood rimmed her black leather bracelets.

Jayce didn’t even notice the weather that was coming across the two of them. It was obvious by the concerned look on his face that he pretty much cared about everyone. Jayce may be incredibly strange and a serious party animal at times. But, he was a very sweet guy. Whenever someone was hurt you would always see him by there side, either trying to calm them down, or find out what exactly happened. He did it with his friends and with strangers. Right now, he didn’t even know this girls name. Plus, he knew it was hard for people to open up to random others. But, he didn’t care. If this girl was throwing glass and crying the ‘I’m okay..’ act wasn’t going to cut it.
As he kneeled down next to her, he finally got the nerve to release his lower lip. He waited for her response, and as he heard her words he almost wanted to laugh. This boy must have had some kind of magical powers. He could always tell what people were going to say to him. Well, the first part of her words he knew was going to come through her mouth. The rest, not so much. He shook his head slightly, “It didn’t hit me; I’m A-Okay.” He brought his hand up and gave her a thumbs up before placing his hand back in his lap.
As she introduced herself, he could help but smile slightly at her name. It was incredibly unique, and he loved it. “Nice to meet you, Harmony. I’m Jayce. Jayce Starr.” He said, introducing himself as well. When her hand emerged from her hoodie, he grasped it gently, shaking it. But, just as he parted his hand from hers, his eyes looked down, catching a glance at the blood rimming her bracelets. He automatically knew that the glass that was thrown at him had something to do with it. Whether she did it purposely or not, he wasn’t about to judge. He brought his hand over to her wrist, and held onto it gingerly. “Is it stinging?” He asked her softly, his eyes meeting hers as his hand stayed gently around her wrist. He didn’t bother to ask questions at that moment. Jayce just wanted to know if it hurt.

&& get me out of this reality. .x. The rain was coming on now. Not all powerful, but on and off here and there you could feel a drop splat on you. Harmony looked at her camera and sketchbook itching to put them away. With her free hand she slipped her sketchbook in her bag and her camera into it's case. There, see Harmony could multi task, she did all this while Jayce shook her hand. She let a relaxed laugh as his thumb up sign. She was begining to feel better now. Mabey it was because ;; she didn't even know why. There were just some people that you couldn't help but feel comfortable around. Harmony shook the thought away for now as he introduced himself. Good thing it didnt hit because that would just be sooooo terrrrible, now wouldn't it? She smirked , clearly joking around. Thats when she noticed he held her hand lightly and gently. Oo-oh.
.x. Harmony's brows furrowed in a small and worried frown. Oo-oh was right. Biting her lip she kept her lip inbetween her teeth, as she always did when she was nervous. She also planned on getting a peircing there, she liked the way it looked and the fact she always bit her lip amused her, it would be better to bite her piecing then just her plain old lip. She wouldn't lie just to make herself look stonger and tougher. There was no need to lie when her eyes gave it all away. Releasing her grip on her pink-red bottom lip she answered him in a normal voice, deciding to try to make a little joke out of it. Yea, but not as bad as getting my guitar taken away. Ok, it was a terrible joke, and it wasn't funny in Harmony's point of view, but what the hell she wasn't in conditions to really make a funny joke.
.x. So now Harmony guessed the gray sky wanted attention because the rain drops were more frequent and really starting to come on;hard. With a small sigh she waited to see Jayce's reaction to the rain, to the lighting and thunder that started and to the blood. Lots of people hated her for the cuts. They all said it was stupid and didn't make things better. Pshya right, they never tried so they wouldn't know. Acually the pain from the cuts made the emotional pain go away, so did rock muisc, but cutting got through better. Usually it was the so called Populars that messed with her, they all said it made no difference to cut, but hey Harmony had a smart a.s.s reply ; did gossiping about other people's lives make them any better? They shut up after that. && the storms all inside me, where no one see this emotional disease

Jayce could feel the rain that hit against his skin every now and then. But, he was trying his best to ignore it. It was a rather easy task at that moment because it wasn't coming down too hard. He watched as she put her stuff away in her bag while shaking his hand. It was true, girls were better multitakers than guys. There was no way he would have been able to do that. He would have probably broken his camera in the process. He grinned some at her words and nodded his head energetically. "Ohmygosh, it would be a longer so than that! I could have gotten killed!" He joked back, shaking his head some.
Jayce could feel the sudden silence falling upon them as he asked if her wrist was stinging. The way he watched her nibble at her lower lip and the way she was hesitating showed him that she indeed did it on purpose. Jayce couldn't stand when people had such a habit. He wasn't about to yell at her for it; he wasn't like that. He knew how somehow it relaxed them. It got rid of the surge of pain that had been running through the person only moments before. He had gone through it all too many times before and was glad to say he had finally broken away from it. At her joke, he looked up at her, his blue eyes meeting hers. He rose a brow at her slightly. Before looking back down at her wrist, wondering how he could help.
Jayce gingerly took her bracelet off to reveal her wound. He forced himself not to shudder at the sight of blood; he was never the strongest in that area. He took off one of his bracelets. It was much like a cloth that was tied around his wrist. Pretty little flowers on it. Why he wore it, he had no idea; but, hell, it showed off his feminine side. He wrapped it gently around her wrist, before tying it. It wasn't a loose tye, but it wasn't increadibly tight either. Just enough to stop the blood. "It's a really bad habit, Harmony." He said, his voice soft. He didn't say it was stupid, he didn't raise his voice. After all, he had no right to. He would have been a hypocrite in the process. "Why did you do it?" He asked her, though when he realized what he had said, he shook his head some. "Don't answer that; not my business." Last thing he wanted was for her to think he was some freak trying to know every detail about her life.
His eyes looked up at the sky as the rain poured down on them. It was no longer an easy task to ignore. Jayce released the girls hand and crawled over to sit next to her on against the tree, his ebony hair soaked. "Not the brightest of ideas to sit here at this time." He muttered softly, shaking his head some. He wouldn't be surprised if they both got killed.

&& i just wanted to forget ;; what I need to remember .x. ♥ She grinned some more at his jokings back. But then got all serious again. Well, she tried. But when she saw the cloth with the flowers on it she wanted to throw him a humongous hug on him. And she probabley would if she knew him better; being random and well, as was mentioned before 'different' and all. But not today, ok, mabey today; just not now. Letting him wrap the cloth around her wrist she shook her head. So I've heard. Ok, so it seemed everyone hated the whole 'cutting' thing.... mhhhm, mabey she would have to stop. If only she could. But she couldn't; she tried and fell again with no one to help her up. So thats when she learned for a secound time never to trust anyone.
♥ She gave a small smile as he told her to ignore his question. Harmony was told by phyco doctors that if you talked more about what happened then it would make teh pain go away. Of course Harmony was sure they only said this because she never told them what had happened. She never talked to them, or really anyone else for that matter. Shaking her head as he crawled to her side she sighed and met his blue eyed gaze with her own. 'Cuz of a very stupid boy that did soem very stupid things. Other words I just wanted to forget what I have to remember Lighting stuck, Zap right infront of them. If they wanted to live, they would have to move... or risk it.... To true. Any better ideas?

Jayce was glad to see she didn't pull away as he tied the cloth around her fragile wrist. Even if it only helped the slightest, he was trying. At her words, he felt as if he was annoying her to the max by even saying that. But, Jayce wasn't about to get up and leave. He knew how annoying it was to have someone telling you the same thing over and over again. But, sometimes that was what you needed. Jayce couldn't even remember how he had stopped.. But, whatever, at least he had, right?
Since Jayce had told her not to answer that question he had thought she was actually going to keep it to herself. So, he didn't get a very detailed answer, but at least he got one. As he heard it was about a guy he shook his head some, bringing his right hand up and running it through his hair, attempting to brush some out of his face. "A boy.. Isn't worth your pain." He said in total honesty. He knew it might seem like it at times, but it really wasn't. "And each time you think you forgot, it's going to come back and the whole cycle is going to continue again." His head flew in the direction the lighting was, and he felt his heart beat slightly faster. "Actually.. I'm pretty blank on ideas. Unless we go inside? Or we could just risk are precious little lives."

.x. Your right though, he isn't or wasn't worth it. This whole cutting thing started in seventh grade acually. then it stopped, then it came back.... Her eyes darted to the open Gardens keeping a steady stare on it, just listing to the lighting crack the sky, the thunder making her whole body tremble, the ground vibrate. The rain only intensifing. This was going to be good. True, True Harmony put on a fake and heavy British accent, trying to act like one of those famous philosophy people. Even though she had no idea what Jayce ment ; she wouldn't admit. Then when he said he was blank on idead one popped into her very strange mind. Perfect.
♥ Acually Harmony hadn't done this since a week before her parents sent to rehab. Mabey she take some madication, a nurse had said ; Harmony had refused saying it was her nature to stand out. Harmony also remembered saying that she didn't want to have a boring life like the nurses'. This had made her parents stick her in rehab for two weeks longer. Great ; she knew. Of course that rehab center had never had such a kisk ass three months like the one they had with her. All teh doctors and nurses were on their feet with her. She pulled pranks, she threated to kill herself [ it was only a joke, she loves her life ; sorta...] she annoyed the security and some other patienst and she started a rebellion that got the cops teh attention.... that wasn't so good. Luckily her parents claimed she was crazy just so she wouldn't go to juvy. The memories brought a big smile to Harmony's lips.
.x. Jumping up she grabbed Jayce's hands urging him to get up. No, more like pulling him up. Well, atleast she tried. Laughing she kept tugging. Hun, all my life a lived it at a risk, why should now be any different? Come on, we're gonna play a game. It's called, umm... i dont think it has a name. He kept looking at the garden. There was perfect running spaces. Then she decided to explain how to play over the roar of the hard hitting rain. It's like tag I guess, but in the rain. No, more like dancing, dance She wasn't whining or beggiing, just asking with a really wanting catch in her voice.

Jayce looked over at her as he listened to her agreeing with him about the boy not being worth it. When she was finished speaking, he parted his own to say something. “Seventh grade? I had the same problem then as well.” He paused for a moment before adding, “I managed to stop Freshman year in high school though.” At each struck of lighting, he could feel a shiver go down his spine. It’s not that he minded thunderstorms. But, he had never been outside under a tree during one. Which certainly brought a rush of adrenaline go through him. He smiled slightly at her words and the heavy accent she had put on her words.
Jayce had never had to go into any sort of rehab or hospital because of the problem of cutting that he had had for about two years. He had always turned to it when he was feeling emotional. But, after a while he realized that he couldn’t live that way. His best friend back home in Tennessee had helped him up the whole time. Helped him get through his problem. The problem that had broke his families heart. Now though, when he looks at them, he can tell how much they were grateful to still have him in the world with them. To have him.. Healthy, if you would put it that way.
Jayce’s eyes watched her as she jumped up from the ground. As she grabbed his hands and tried to pull him up he laughed softly. “I’m offended; am I that much of a fat a.ss?” He laughed softly, and then pulled himself up. “A game?” He repeated before listening to her. He smirked slightly as she explained it being like tag; and then she explained it being like dancing. “So.. Which one is it, dear?” He asked, raising a brow slightly as he laughed. “Because I’m up for either one.” He added as she heard the ‘wanting catch’ in her voice.

&& catch me if you can
His words proved that it could be stopped, that cutting wasn't forever; only the scars were. She wondered if she would be strong enough to stop for real this time. Mabey she would be able too. Who knew? She stopped worrying about future events, all would fall in place at the right time. She smirked when he said he was offended. Hmm, no, not a fat as.s more like a wild a.ss. She laughed, thunder boomed in the clouds above, the rain not letting off, not even a little. Guys, always taking things the wrong way, but then again ;; sometimes they were right. I'm just kidding And she was just kidding, Harmony never would say such a thing, if she was in church, anywhere else, yea. Pondering wheather it was tag or dancing she raised her hand and rested her chin in it, making a little frown. hmm, I don't know, I already gave you an idea, you pick. She was also up for either one, really it didn't matter what she did right now, as long as she didn't have to sit still. She only sat still in church and when she thought monsters were watching her. Harmony had this funny little paraniona that she thought she was being watched sometimes; and it scared her silly; a little to silly but as was said before a nice way to describe Harmony was 'different'. Not psycho [ok, mabey] not a maniac not gay or immature [ok, sometimes she was] because Harmony wasn't really all thos words, she just stood out.
lately the weather's been so f.uck.ed over ;; and consequently so have I

When she said he was a wild a.ss he burst into laughter and shook his head some. "As long as it isn't fat a.ss i'm happy." Jayce honestly didn't care about his appearance. Well, maybe his hair.. But, the rest he wasn't going to moan and cry about. When she said she was kidding he smirked some and gave her a smile to show he was aware. He brought his hand over to his chin and poked it, as if debating which one to choose. "Well, they are both just so fasinating.." He paused before dropping his hand. "Both! But, first, I want to play tag." His voice came out sounding rather childish, and he laughed soon after. His pearly white teeth came over his bottom lip as he bit at it. His right hand rose and he poked her shoulder gently. "You, my dear, are it." A bright cheesy smile came across his lips as he stuck out his tongue playfully at her, and ran in a random direction.
[[Ohmygosh, this sucks SO bad. I'm so sorry <3 Next one will be loads better; promise.]]

- Harmony was deep in thought, agreeing that both possiblities were truley fasinating. She was about to say that -- she jumped. Oh? She was it? Fine then, then be it, but she wouldn't be it for very long. She of course almost toppled over when he poked her, even if it was gently, because she wasn't expecting it at all. Laughing loudly she stood there in the middle if the rain just staring at him. Hmm.. she would have alot of thinkng to do. Looking up at the sky she was acually glad that the sun didn't show a hint of it's glory, and that the clouds were thick and gray. For some reason she prefered the weather like this;for everything.
- I won't be it for long hun, And she proceded to chase him. Legs carried her at a run after him, winding around trees and bushes. She skirted at a turn almost slipping in the mud but managed to regain her footing. This odd pair of teens looked like kindergarderners, chasing eachother around the playground. She was very close to him when an idea popped in her very strange mind. Gathering herself Harmony jumped and tackled him, holding onto his back, like a piggy back ride. With a smirk she grinned as well at the same time ; I do belive that you are it now?

As soon as Jayce ran off he looked back every now and then to make sure she hadn’t run in the opposite direction and gone home. That.. wouldn’t have been very nice. As he was running and he heard her words he shook his head, even if she couldn't tell he was. "I think not!" He yelled back at her. So, Jayce wasn't the fastest of runners. But, he thought it would be enough at a moment like this. The minute the girl actually started running though. Woah, it wasn't enough.
His icy blue eyes went wide as he tried to go faster, waving his hands in the air. "Don't hurt meeee!" He said, looking back. As he saw her coming closer, he knew the end was near. But, instead of being poked he was jumped upon. As the sudden force came upon him, he almost fell forward, but somehow managed to keep his balance, and held onto Harmony's legs. "Are you insane?" He asked, though laughter erupted from his mouth. "See, that's where you are mistaken. Because I'm touching you, therefore, you're it again." The explanation made no sense in any way but he had just said the first thing to pop into his head. Jayce turned his head around, and looked up at her, a grin on his lips.

Harmony couldn't help herself she just had to tackle him. With an amazed look she joked around Now I'm offended, I am not that fat to bring you down. She laughed some, enjoying the free piggyback ride she was getting, even if it was rather at a walk. As he asked if she was insane she wrapped her arms around his neck, pretending to choke him, though she just held on loosley. I do believe there is a reason my parents made me go those psycho doctors acually, now that you did mention it. Harmony gave a puzzled look at his explaniation then she understood it. That would be fixed right now. No problem. Taking his hands in hers she loosed his grip and jumped down from his back, she was tempted.... but decided against it, they were just friends. Laughing she stood infront of him and stared into his eyes. For a about a mintute then she threw a hug on him and gave him a friendly pop kiss on the cheek. Harmony was silent then shook her head; I do believe that now my dear, you are it. She started off at a jog looking back every now and then to see if he was coming or if he would turn back and head home. That sir, would make Harmony utterley sad.&& it's amazing that I can't have you.
