He paced back and forth, ignoring the chill that was brought by the night air. Biting his bottom lip, he walked over to the edge of the balcony and looked over it quietly, only to shudder and step back, step way back. Yes, he had a fear of heights.
Swallowing hard, he pulled his infamous black leather jacket around himself even more and brushed lockes of brown hair from his face and swallowed hard, glancing to the floor of the balcony, then beginning to scoot his left foot about, moving some of the cigarettes from a spot so he could sit, cowboy boots making a clicking sound when they met the ground once more, then he sat down. Not gently, no, but quite roughly, allowing a thud, then a grunt from him being heard. The ashes would probably end up getting on his newly purchased jeans and not come off when he'd dust off his backside. Oh well. The jeans were boot-cut, and fit his form snug, green sequins[Yes, I said sequins, amazing, no?] at the bottom of his pants and in designs on his upper thigh, just silly little designs, such as swirls and hearts. His shirt? Oh, he surely must be wearing a shirt. And he was--a grey long-sleeved shirt that was torn in several places on the sleeve due to him picking at his shirt whilst bored in class. He grinned, and began singing, "She is in my bloodstream, tonight she's draining me, the room is filled with reds and blues.." he went on with the song, staring down at the ground as he sang. Yes, he was aware you don't sing as well when you're sitting. But oh well, he wasn't trying to sing at his best.

Kate smiled. She was standing in the door way behind him. Watching him move. As he sat she came up behind him and lowered herself to the ground. Her long fingers grabbed a lock of his darkish hair. "You've got a beautiful voice babe." Her voice low, and strange. From her lips fluttered a giggle. She stood and bounced towards the railing. She did not look back to see if the guy was watching her. She simply knew he was watching. Pulling herself over the railing she let her feet float a few inchs above the soild ground. Her long hair toppled over her shoulders. Which were bare. Well let me explain her dress. At the moment she was dressed in black leggings with an all to short skirt, she liked to say it made her legs look longer and better. Her top was a loose white shirt that was draped over her shoulders. Well really it was more of and off the shoulder thing. The elastic made it hold close to her body, the rest of it floated loosly over her slim frame. Her feet were clasped in black flats. She leaned over the rail a bit further and giggled as she could feel gravity try and pull her down. In a quick movement she pulled herself back over the rail and smiled over at the guy. Grinning in that devilish way that was-- her way she pulled herself up on the rail and sat. Her eyes gleamed in a childish way, like she was looking into a case of candy knowing she could have any; not like that was gonna stop her from getting it.

"AH! he threw his arms up, "I SWEAR I DIDN'T DO IT!" he then laughed, looking at her, "Ohh, hey. I didn't know Angels existed." he grinned at her, then sighed deeply. "No. No. My voice isn't beautiful. You see, if I were to stand and sing, then it would be beautiful... Or so I don't sound full of myself, sound just a bit better." he continued watching her, keeping his alert high. You see, he could trust someone with all his heart. But still find a way not to trust them in the first place. So he really wouldn't trust a single soul. Smiling wide, his eyes got big suddenly when he seen her near the rails, "You shouldn't be near those! You could fall!" he said, "And go 'SPLAT!'.. Then.. Then.. Then.." he began pretending to cry, looking down at the ground, "No one'll be able to tell me if I got all the cigarette ashes off my behind." he stood up to his full height and began trying to brush off his pants. "I like your choice of clothing, by the way." he smiled, then turned so his back was to her, "Any ashes left?" he questioned.

Koneko saw the girl talking to Ry.She didn't want to disturb them, but she couldn't help herself. She was highly attracted to Ry,for some reason she couldn't understand.
Koneko walked to the other side of the blancony and sat down. She watched Ry,still fighting back the urge to cry infront of him.She couldn't show him how weak at heart she was when near him,no..not ever.
As she sat down her eyes averted to the girl sitting on the railing. "I wouldn't sit there...the railings look like they could break easily under anyone's weight."Koneko said, not noticing the edge and anger to her voice.

"You're sweet boo." Kate giggled in reply to his pick up line. But twisting her leg around a support rail she lifted her hands to her head and made devils horns. "Too bad my halo's plastic and held up by horns. And you're not too bad either doll face." she added, finishing this statment with a cluck on the end, taking play of the period. She rolled her eyes as he cried. "I'm sure if I started to fall you catch me. Fallen Angels like you have wings too. Don't forget that." She swung herself off the rail and came up him as he turned to have her get the ashes off his butt. There were no ashes, but being who she was forced to touch his butt. "Nope." she said. Smirking her fingers wiggled their way into his back pockets and emptied out the contense... "What do we have heree?"
. . .
Going through the things in the guys back pockets she turned to look at the girl. Her face thrust into a warm smile. "Thanks for caring hun." she liked knowing that people cared if she was alive or not. "But I dunno. I kinda like that danger. The egde. Will I live will I die? You know? That kinda crap."

"Well. I now know I've been called everything on this Earth, now." he laughed, "Ohhh. Ohhh. But us fallen angels are known to be called that for a reason, I'll just drag you down." he smirked, raising a brow at her, then laughing, "Joseph!" he said, finally announcing his name, no, no 'Call me this or that' or anything. He was going to allow her to use what wild imagination she had, or seemed to have. "But you are speaking the truth, I'd end up attempting to catch you--I'd catch anyone, even if I hated them. I guess it's an instinct of mine. Haven't exactly bothered pondering the thought of why it happens, though." he said, pursing his lips and tilting his head to the side a bit to show he was now in thinking process. "I like to contemplate things." he smiled wide at her. But it soon faded and turned into a surprised and shocking face when she had said 'no' right after touching his behind. "HEY! That is none of your business!" he laughed, trying to take what had been taken out of his backpocket--his wallet and a few notes from class. But his wallet, in the first place, that seemed to be holding quite a bit of money he had been able to scrounge up[from his parents]. "Well, you're a morbid little angelic devil, aren't you?" he smirked, "They say that a few moments before death--like when you jump. You end up regretting it." he shrugged.
"Oh! Hey! Hey Koneko! I didn't see you there!" he smiled, raising a hand as if in a waving gesture, grinning wide.

"Morbid little angelic devil, eh?" she hissed from behind him. "It turns you on I know." She laughed and took a few steps away from him. "Kate." She said this looking up from her 'treasures' giving him a side ways grin. "I'm gonna call you Seph. Simply because I can. And Joseph is just to long... And Seph-- well. It's just sexy." she added. Once she found out his full name she would most likely call him that before Seph-- it was a phase kinda of. She made up nicknames-- it didn't really matter what people told her to call them, that simply wasn't what she was gonna call them. Her lips lifting into a snarl and she name a soundless rawr at him. Now she went through his wallet. "Oh Seph baby, you're loaded."

He put his hands on his hips and kept his lips pursed, giving her one of those 'whatever' looks, then rolling his eyes. He couldn't hold this position long, though; he burst into laughter, head now tilted back. He then turned his attention back to her, brushing his hair from his face and gave a defensive stance, hands once more on his hips. "Seph? Okay. Whatever floats your boat--I'll call you Tiger, then. Because Kate reminds me of 'cat'. And a Tiger reminds me of a cat simply." he stated his reason for the nickname, "So you're now known as Tiger." he smirked, the corners of his lips lifting upwards.
"That money's from my parents! I barely get enough to pay for myself.." he bit his bottom lip at that statement, "I make myself sound like I'm a gigolo." he laughed, then continued, "It's from my parents. Like I said. And they cut how much I got because I don't fall into line.. What you and I think is loaded may be two different things, I don't know. If I give you a ten may I have my wallet back?" he held out his hand as if asking nicely, and that wide grin spread on his face, "Pleassssse? Pretty please? With ice cream and a cherry on toppppp?"

Kate laughed. "Tiger, eh? I like it." she chuckled. She thought about this. "Well I do like ice cream. But no." she tossed his wallet back at him, "I only steal, I mean take, money from guys I'm dating." she smirked. Her eyes rolled away from him. Maybe-- remembering those other guys. Or maybe not. "And hun. No matter how much you are praying you get a chance with me. It just ain't gonna happen." she added, and mocked his look before. Hands on hips, and lips pursed to the side... Oh and you couldn't forget the eyes being rolled. Though just like him she couldn't hold this long. With in a few moments her face was flooded with a grin. Blowing a puff of air out of her lips she sent her bangs flying into the air, then back down again. A giggle escaped her, and she reached up to fix the misplaced bangs.

"I might just call you Kate sometimes. Guess it depends on my mood." he smirked, catching his wallet and putting it back into his backpocket. "I wasn't asking for a date or trying to buy a date off you. If I wanted a date--I'd ask." he said simply, smirking, "And don't mock me! It is not funny and makes me want to cryyyyy. Gosh, have you no heart!?" he joked. "Trust me. I don't buy dates, though. If I want to be with someone or have a thing for someone, I would never let them find out." he smirked. "Because it's hard to catch the signs." He sighed deeply, then crossed his arms over his chest whilst pacing back and forth. "So, Tiger. Why you up here?" he asked, "I mean--this late. You should be sleeping or something, right?" he bit his bottom lip. "And before you ask me that question in return. The reason I'm out here this late is because I think... A lot. Because I enjoy thinking about things other people don't pay attention to. Like, themselves. Honestly, stop and think about yourself a moment. And you may find out something new about yourself or the source of a dislike or love." he shrugged slowly.

"Calm down Seph I was only joking. No need to repeat yourself over and over again, about how you don't buy dates..." she said slowly, looking him up and down. In a quick movement she turned and coughed. Well not really, because she was coughing out the word "Apparently" She turned back to him with an angelic smile. Taking a step closer so they could 'calm this mess down' and 'chat it up' she let her smile fade to a smaller one, which always painted her lips. "I'm out here. Out here... Well-- because..." she had to pause and think about a good answer. She didn't exaclty know whys he was out here. She just was. You know-- when you just start walking, because you are lost in thought, and you just get somewhere and there you are. That's how she got here. She just was. But instead of explain that she gave a smirk and finished her statement. "Well because I'm a vampire. And vampires we don't need sleep" Her lips twiched as she held back a smile, she forced the corners of her lips down and away from the upward turn of a smile-- but that never works for long. Then she tilited her head to get a better look at him, her arms crossed over her chest. "So what do you like and hate about yourself Seph, my little fallen angel?"

He raised a brow, "It doesn't bother me. I just think it shows that someone can't love properly.." he trailed off, "Which is one of the things I hate about myself. I'm a romantic. Kind of." he held up a single finger, "Like. If I fall for someone. I'd be the one crazy enough to go outside their window and start singing some love song--when their boyfriend's with them. A big no-no. And I'd be the one to send them dozens upon dozens of flowers, for no occasion. And I'd spend my money on them-- because love means more than fortune. So I'd end up spending every cent on them because in the end. What's it matter? At least I did love.... That didn't make any sense, did it?" he laughed. "So you came out here because you heard someone was out here and wanted to suck my blood?" he laughed.
"Well. Besides being a romantic... What else do I hate about myself? The fact I'll never be perfect, but if I was perfect I'd hate myself because there would be nothing to love me for, if that makes any sense either." he frowned. "As for loving myself. I love the fact that unlike some people who are constantly worrying about themselves and pointing out every flaw. I actually take time to think about what I don't like about myself and why--because there's always a reason." he swallowed hard. "Liiike. Why I hate being a romantic is because I would let anyone take advantage of me and still find a way to smile through it." he chuckled. "Another thing I love about myself is how I'll act on what I say and stuff. And the fact I'm a very nice guy. I won't start crap unless it's started with me or one of my friends." He then paused as a grin covered his face, "Now that I told you my answer. What do yu love or hate about yourself? Think about it for a few moments."

”I thought you were gonna ask that.” Kate hissed at him. Rocking back on her heels she thought for a second, and opened her mouth. Then closing it again she pursed her lips. ”I hate the fact every male I attempt to date is a jerk, and that I don’t really care.” she finally managed to come up with. She closed her eyes to think a bit more. ”I also hate the fact that I have been kicked out of every boarding school my good for nothing parents had shipped me off too, and that I don’t care...” You would think she was done. ”I guess I hate that I don’t care.” she finished her hate list off with this. Then she smiled. At least she knew what she liked about herself. ”I like that I have made to many friends to remember the name of.” she said this nodding as if proud that she attracted people. ”I like that… I am not perfect like my good for nothing brother.” she quietly applauded herself on this. Almost tempted to do a little jig to go along with it as well. She could keep thinking, keep taking up time, but she didn’t. Running her fingers though her hair she looked at the ground, arms returning to crossed over her chest. Hugging herself for warmth in the suddenly cold night.

"Hmmm." he paused, looking down. "Honestly. To a degree. No one cares about anything more--you're just mature enough to notice and admit it. Which is honorable. I admire it." he smirked. "I never really commited to anyone.." he thought, then heaved out a sigh, "Because I'm afraid to let them know who I am. Because my parents kicked me out of my house which is why I have all that money.. So I can at least buy food and some clothes." he paused. "And if I let them get to know the real me, I'd be afraid they'd take advantage and use my weaknesses against me. I wouldn't doubt it." he shrugged. "I'm too vulnerable." he stared down, "Soooo. Then. About the world. Since we're on a thinking topic about things." he smiled, "I enjoy talking to people. Anyways. What are your thoughts onnn... Oh... I don't know." he bit down on his lip. "The modern world versus the past? Like. The 1920's compared to now?" he asked, sitting down and leaning forward a bit to study her better. "I dislike today's society. Because of how loose it seems to be. Sure, people say it's demanding, but is it really?" he said with a wide grin, "'Back in the day' as people say, you got payed less for work and there was no such thing as dating-- but rather, courting. Which I actually wish was still true today.." he quieted down, may as well let her talk, this was the original wish, to hold a conversation with her.

”Its ohkay boo. I got kicked out too. My perfectionist brother before me was the one they loved. So it was off to boarding school for me. They’ll take me back—they just don’t want to.” she shrugged it off, like a snake shedding its skin. The stupidity of the parents that never got to knew her never fazed her like it might other people. She’d learned to brush it off and—let the good times roll. She leaned against the stone wall, letting the cold tickle her back, her hands laced behind her. ”I don’t know if I could take courting. Well—maybe I could. It would depend. If I was one of those girls that got a lot of those suitors or if I was one of those girls that didn’t get many at all… If I got a lot—then I don’t think I’d mind. Because well simply…” she paused to think of what to say next, she chewed at her bottom lip thoughtfully. Grinning she caught her thoughts again ”If I had many suitors it one courted another girl then I would have more to turn to. But if I had few suitors then I would become jealous. Because weren’t they allowed to court more than one woman. As in life now that is known as cheating… right? Or am I just totally wrong?” she finished laughing. A soft wind blew her hair out of place. She attempted to fix it but tossed her head to the side, of course this did not work, so she simply stared at the lock before her eyes and willed it to move. This got her no where, but she did not mind. With a smirk she focused past the hair and on Seph.
